Finally, the 12 finalist for Miss Earth Sabah 2012!  About Miss Earth Sabah:
Miss Earth Sabah aims to highly and practically educate the young girls in Sabah to help create awareness for themselves, their families and especially the community of Sabah to be more serious in saving and protecting the environment. This pageant will produce beauties that possess the right criteria to represent Sabah in the National competition of Miss Malaysia Earth 2011 that will be held in Ipoh,Perak on the 27th June this year.

Throughout the competition, apart from enrolling themselves in programs that emphasize strongly on environmental protections, the participants are also required to attend various environmental activities, where they are given the opportunity to practice and voice out their green thoughts and ideas. Besides that, this event also aims to showcase and promote various tourist destinations in Sabah.

 Joanna Marie Faurillo

I should be Miss Earth Sabah 2012 because I would want to be a role model to the society to heal our dying world. Firstly, to help promote the conversation of out beautiful forest. Encourage our present government to plant more trees & greenery in our city. Secondly, work together with the authorities in curbing the emmiting if gasses that is harmful to the environment. To propose that 'Everyday is a NO Plastic Bag day' this way we could lessen the pollution rate, be it land, water or air. This is because plastic bags are known to be the one of the biggest contribution to pollution in our state. It could be tangible or non-tangible but both brings negativity to us.
 Tatiana Rudolf J Millip, 18

I should win Miss Earth Sabah 2012 because I am dedicated in achieving my goals and not the type of person who takes leadership and responsibilities lightly especially when it comes in benefiting all of us. Hence, I'm willing to assist and to be the 'mobilizer' in revamping the current condition of the environment that Sabah is facing today.
 Daphne Fay W. Santor, 22

I should win Miss Earth Sabah 2012 because I want to be the role model and ambassador that advocates environmental awareness and other global issues not only in Sabah but to the world . To make people realise about how important it is to preserve our environment and to help teach and educate young people especially children to love and care our mother nature more for better future generations.
 Affy Jackleyinda Entawin, 21

I should win Miss Earth Sabah because if I win this title, it belongs to mother nature, not me. The most important thing is to participate in each and every single of activities in this pageant for the sake of environment.
 Christini Loo Ai Ling, 21

I should win Miss Earth Sabah 2012 because I have a dream. Throughout my life I have been involved in many events and campaigns to save our environment and mother nature. However, the impact was limited. And if I continue doing what I did the impact would be the same. But, if I won this title I would inspire many people out there especially our young generations. Doing the same things with this title, will have a very big impact. Because now it is not only my dream but all of us.
 Carolren Vinnie Yong, 21

I should win Miss Earth Sabah 2012 because I have a big heart to preserve the environment. I want to be the catalyst that change people's mind to care more about the environment. I believe that in everything that we do towards our Mother Earth and all living things, we should put love above all. If there is love in all that we do, all things will be good.

Deidre Ann Walker, 18

I should win Miss Earth Sabah 2012 because the duties of a Miss Earth is for a lifetime. To me, Mount Kinabalu is my tower of strength and the longest river in Sabah 'The Kinabatangan' represents courage to overcome life's hurdles. As mother nature never fails me, I will strive to take care of it.

Chan Hui Ching, 25

I should win Miss Earth Sabah 2012 because I believe Earth is sick now and we have the responsibility to save our earth from dangerous. Nature brings life for us, therefore, no nature, no us. If I won the title, I will try my best to spread the news to everyone, so that everyone will cooperate to make the earth healthy. A slogan for all, ' Stop Pollution, Save Our Earth Together'

 Isabel Ng Yuin Yuen, 22

I should win Miss Earth Sabah 2012 because to me, to be Miss Earth Sabah 2012 is my job. And I say job because saving the earth is a responsibility, a challenging work and a commitment. I am dedicated to the mission of saving our only planet we have. We do not inherit the planet from our ancestors, but we borrow it from our children. our children deserve to enjoy the beauty of our mother nature. to me, everyday is earth day and I just want to do my job, this is why I think I should win Miss Earth Sabah 2012.
 Xandria Ban Kah Yee, 18

I should win Miss Earth Sabah because I am willing to help in whatever way to preserve our polluted environment and to be a role model on this because I strongly believe every little effort from everyone can contribute hugely towards saving our mother earth from being destroyed. I hope by carrying this Miss Earth Sabah title on my shoulder, I can have a platform to carry out events or activities which can educate the public on the importance of protecting our planet.
 Frederica Fabian Peter, 22

I should win Miss Earth Sabah because I am a very
ambitious person and I believe that the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams '. In my dream and career, I love to give opportunity and let the new generation especially the children to show their talent and care about the environment. Happy Mothers Day to My Lovely Mum!

Dedicated to my Lovely Mum, Happy Mothers Day to you!

Mother’s smile is as precious as a gemstone. She is the one who bore us for 9 months to just give a new life. She is the one who sacrificed almost everything to see us smile. To her, family meant the whole world. She gave her everything to us. Can’t we even make her smile a day?? Is it justified?? Even if we spend our whole life in the service of our mother, we can’t compare her sacrifice, love, care and affection which she felt for us. Realize it in time, before she’s too old and hurt. Remember the time when she fought for you, your 1st day at school, when you took your 1st step, the day you celebrated your 1st birth day. Just think of the moments when she made you smile infinite time! Can’t you even make her smile a day?

Recently, May 2012, my self and my mum at KG Tanaki Tambunan! Mum, I always Love You no matter What! She is my LIFETIME GIRLFRIEND!

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.  ~Washington Irving

Bye Philippines!

Having another travel partner, NADIA HAZEMAN was not in our plan. We met Nadia inside the Philtranco Corp. Bus, the only bus from Clark to Pasay. She is Orang KL bah who spoke good Sabahan Malay. Since she travel alone, she decided to join our trip. Nadia, actually i am more than happy you know? hehehe!

The first night was a horrible night. I booked an accommodation at Stargate Pensionne , Malate next to Pan Pacific Hotel, Manila  BUT during that night, i lost my way. The bloody hell Taxi driver sent us to Ermita Street.

Me: " Uncle, do you know where is Stargate Pensionne Inn?"
Taxi Driver: " Indi po."

Well, this was the worst part when the taxi driver don't know how to speak English and don't know the place! I ask Oscar to go out from the Taxi because the meter keep on running if we stay longer inside the cab. I just put my 100% confident to find the place.

Well, if you are LUCKY, you will see lots of unexpected things everywhere. One of the most unexpected things was when I saw people died (maybe got killed by someone) in front of my eyes! I'm not local people there so i left the incident and i pray to God so that things won't happen to me and my friend.

Since i'm bringing along my luggage, so lots of  'volunteer' offered to help to find the hotel but i refuse because they will charge extra to the hotel receptionist. Finally, after 1 hour walking with no confirmed destination, i saw the Stargate Pensionne House Signboard then i started to smile!

The rest of the day, the plan was very good and awesome and some of place that we visited not in the itinerary. Well, you can enjoy the photo in my Facebook. you can see my FB link in the leftside of my blog.
Please allow me to share some of the picture here!
This is Manila Cathedral, one of the oldest church in Manila. Located approximately 2 KM from city center (Malate). You can go here by Tricycle, Taxi , Kalesa(Not Recommended) or you can walk. It is just next to the famous Intramuros and Rizal Park. During Good Friday , Easter and Christmas, this place is pack with people and you can see lots of interesting thing happening around.
a photo opportunity with the Catholic Youth in Manila Cathedral. This photo was taken during Good Friday.
Graffiti! actually we can find such area in Kota Kinabalu. This place was covered with concrete wall and the place where the teenager draw their graffiti art skills. You may see some of the kids play skateboard. This is located near near St Augustin Church.
This is in Tondo, quit far from Malate. You need to take Taxi or Jeepney to go there. Tondo is one of most dangerous place in Manila. During Good Friday, you can see this kind of things and if you lucky, you will witness the crucifixion of Jesus Christ- Real person nailed in a big cross!

We were here by an accident. We took tricycle from Intramuros to  Divisoria and sadly, the driver cant speak English. The only word he understood was 'Church'. Finally, we were sent to a wrong Church. Thanks Lord, we managed to walk from Tondo to Divisoria.
" Manila Cemetery" of  "American Cemetery" ? Don't get confused. Manila Cemetery is a  family cemetery. The picture above was the American Cemetery! Located at Global City of Taguig. Please take a Taxi and please inform to the taxi driver to send you at American Cemetery, Global City Taguig. Don't ask the taxi to wait for you because lots of taxi going there or else, the taxi driver will charge you double.
SM Mall of Asia is the 2nd largest mall in the Philippines after SM City North EDSA, 3rd largest shopping mall in Asia
 Easter Virgil celebration
Stargate Pensionne Inn , This is the place that we stay. Very good hospitality and recommended to all tourist. The rates are very affordable.
Why i like to go to Philippines? i love entertainment and i know that Entertainment in Philippines is one of the Most Happening in the world! Philippines is well known as a tourism spot especially Angeles City. Hardrock is located in Green Belt 3, Level 2 Makati. Pack with party lover every night and of course, very good entertainment  ( Band )

MC Buffalo at High Society club, Angeles City.

My next trip to Philippines will be on August this year. Im going to Boracay!
